Privacy Policy

Recurfind is a client-side tool that detects recurring subscriptions from bank and credit card statement CSV files. This page describes what data is processed, where, and for how long.

What data is processed

When you use Recurfind, the following data is read from the CSV file you select or drag onto the page:

• Transaction dates
• Merchant or payee names
• Transaction amounts

Recurfind does not ask for, collect, or process your name, address, email address, phone number, account number, card number, Social Security number, tax ID, or any other personally identifying information.

Where data is processed

Your data never leaves your device. Every line of the CSV file you select is read by your browser via FileReader.readAsText() and processed entirely in JavaScript memory. No data is uploaded to any server, transmitted over a network, or stored outside your browser session. The file itself is never sent to Recurfind's hosting infrastructure or to any third party.

How long data is retained

Data exists only while the page is open and only in your browser's memory. When you close the tab or refresh the page, all data is discarded. No cookies, localStorage entries, or server-side records are created. Recurfind has no database, no user accounts, and no persistence layer of any kind.

Third-party services

Recurfind makes no network requests from the browser beyond loading the page itself. It does not contact any analytics service, advertising network, tracking pixel, or content delivery network for scripts or resources. The page loads Google Fonts (Space Grotesk, Source Sans 3, and IBM Plex Mono) from Google's font server to render text as designed — no other external resource is loaded.

No account, no sign-in, no tracking

Recurfind does not offer accounts, login, or any mechanism to identify a returning visitor. There are no session IDs, no cookies for analytics or personalisation, and no way to associate one visit with another.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the tool changes. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. No registered company or legal entity has been established for this product yet. The operator of this site, Agen2ic, LLC (a Colorado limited liability company), will supply the entity name, registered address, and jurisdiction before any data collection begins. Until then, no data is collected to which a privacy right could apply.
