Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Recurfind, a client-side tool that detects recurring subscriptions from bank and credit card statement CSV files. By using the tool, you agree to these terms.

General nature

Recurfind is a free, stateless utility. It processes files entirely in your browser. No data is uploaded, stored, or shared. No user accounts are required or offered. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no ongoing service.

No financial advice

Recurfind does not give financial advice, investment advice, or recommendations about whether to keep or cancel any subscription or service. The tool presents detected patterns in transaction data; any decision you make based on that data is yours alone. Consult a qualified financial advisor for decisions about your finances.

No guarantee of completeness

Recurfind detects charges that appear at a regular interval. A charge that appears only once in the statement you provide cannot be distinguished from a one-off purchase and will not be reported as a subscription. The tool's accuracy depends on the number of months of data you provide, the consistency of merchant names in your statement, and the regularity of the billing interval. We do not guarantee that every subscription is found or that every detected pattern is a genuine subscription.

Use at your own risk

Recurfind is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The operator disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the tool, including but not limited to errors in detection, missed subscriptions, or incorrect cost calculations. No contract or service relationship is formed between you and the operator by your use of this tool.

Intellectual property

Recurfind's source code, design, and brand are owned by the operator. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose the tool or its components for commercial use without prior written permission.

Billing

There is no paid tier. The core Recurfind tool — CSV parsing, merchant grouping, interval detection, price-change analysis, source-row transparency, and CSV download — is free. No payment is required, no trial period applies, and no billing information is collected. There is nothing to charge and nothing to cancel.

The features that would justify a paid tier (persistent subscription tracking across uploads, email alerts, historical trend views) require server-side infrastructure — a database, a backend API, and an email sender — that this product does not have. The product is a pure client-side utility by design. If that infrastructure becomes available in the future, the terms will be updated to describe any paid plan at that time.

Governing law and disputes

No legal entity has been registered for this product yet. The operator of this site, Agen2ic, LLC (a Colorado limited liability company), will supply the registered address and governing jurisdiction before these terms become legally binding. Until then, these terms serve as a statement of operating practice rather than a contract.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated if the tool changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
